I don't know anything about Turkey calls but the quality of Howie's calls is very evident from the pictures. Top notch work.

Playing with one heading out the door. It has all the right characteristics, Just hope the recipient is better with a box call than I am, I need some practice.

Nothing wrong with your using that box call. Sounds really good. Made my tail feathers stand upPlaying with one heading out the door. It has all the right characteristics, Just hope the recipient is better with a box call than I am, I need some practice.
