Yeah, I like 'em, although I might think about another 6x42 or a 6x36.

edit, added thought: I think I'd shoot a Partition or e-Tip, or maybe a Brand X tipped monometal at deer. I see this as more of a coyote/varmint rifle, though.

Yeah, the cool thing is it will work so well at both roles really. You do have plenty of good deer rifles though! Scotty

Too many, really. I need to start hunting out of state. Someplace where you can bag more than one deer (or antelope, or hog) a year.
