Not being able to leave well enough alone, I had hunted with the 210 PTs a few years back and love the performance but the accuracy as so so. Figured I was able to get the 200 ABs to tighten up so I decided to try it a little with the 210 PTs. I have measured everything with the .338 comparator so that's why the lengths look a little long.

Still not exactly what I'm looking for but I loaded up another series shortening them .010" or about a 1/4 turn each time. I'd be ecstatic to see that 3rd round come into the other two. Seems like they are being jumped a bunch right now so it may be in vain but I hate stopping when I think I'm close.

Scotty go for it, if nothing else it's fun to burn powder besides I like the challenge which I'm sure you do also. (y)

Certainly isn't going to hurt to try but those loads look plenty accurate as they stand.

I hear you Bill. I've already taken a spiker on Mt Emily at 400 plus yards but I'd just like to see it tighten up a little. Not that it won't hunt fine as is, but, well, I'm just making excuses to shoot and I love my 338, so I need a reason to shoot it a little more often....

Any reason to get out and shoot is a good reason (y) . I have no doubts you will get it tighter since that is your goal.

I think this is about as good as I'm going to get without messing around with primers and the powder charges.

I'm pretty sure I can live with that.

As I went deeper the groups starting getting larger. Now I have to decide what I'm going to run this Fall.... Decisions.

Oh and the hole thru the written numbers was my partners muzzleloader.... Danged shooting partners anyhow!

...iffn you had a .325 WSM, you wouldn't be wondering...

Scotty,

Nice work. Go with the 210 gr PT and don't look back.

Looks more than good enough to me, go forth and shoot with all the confidence in the world.

I knew you'd see this eventually...

I'm pretty happy with that. I should have a chance to run it out at distance soon. I figure I'll be able to compare the 210 to the 200 AB and let the bullets decide. Both are shooting well.
