Reloading Fact or Falicy

Last time I checked, fairies and pixies were neither easy to find, nor worked cheap. It's going to take a lot of pixie dust to get this idea to fly.

I think that we need to have a new catagory like quote of the day or best quote recently. this one is a treasure, especially given the supject. GREAT POST

I am still laughing !!!!!!!!

I really wish that I would have said that instead of "I Will go with fiction. but will see what others smarter than me say !!!!" if I only had known.!!!!!

Well, if that gunsmith can really do what he says he can, then he's a better man than I am. I guess what the point really may be is is it possible for a new factory rifle using factory ammo actually be capable of sub-MOA accuracy? I duno. I'm hearing the newer Savages can be very accurate but I haven't tried one. All I can say in over 50 years of being rifle loony, I can honestly say I've only seen one that I can think of offhand and no, it's not for sale. For the record, it's a Winchester M70 XTR with what appears to be a factory installed McMillan stock in .270 Win. I first test fired it with a box of Winchester 150 gr. Power Point factory ammo and the first 5 shot group was .50" I fired thre more 5 shot groups and the largest one was .75" I've done sosme reloading work with the rifle and to date I can only equal what those factory loads did but I just can't beat them. I used it to take my antelope in 2009. I do have other rifles that will shoot that well but it took some effort to get them where they are.
Regarding that gunsmith? Methinks it's probably more fallacy that than fact.
