I can't imagine stuffing 86 grains of 7828 into a 300 Weatherby case with a 180-grain bullet.
All of the ones here shoot 81.5-82.5 grains, and by 83.5-84 there are stiff bolts and it's at max.

300WBY has always been my favorite caliber. I even have a Model 70 BOSS in 300WBY.I even have a set of orginal Weatherby Dies for the 300 WBY in mint condition with instruction booklet and box.
I have the older chrome style set of dies for my 300 Wby and they were well ahead of the times. The only thing that irked me was the double nut die lock.I even have a set of orginal Weatherby Dies for the 300 WBY in mint condition with instruction booklet and box.
