Looking for recommendations for shooting bags. What you like/don't like.. I had the Caldwell tack driver and liked it, but some toothy critter found it in the building and gnawed holes it. I'd have no issues buying another tack driver, just looking for options. Im looking at the standard 15" bulls bag, but I don't know, if at $114, it does anything the tack driver won't.

I'm hoping to play on my sister's good side, she has a fancy sewing room and a heavy-duty sewing machine..She's been making bikini tops for the folks in their Jeep club. Maybe I can come up with something (or borrow an idea) and have her crank it out for me.

For more years than I care to remember, I've used bags my wife made. She sold them commercially for a period. They were made from material scavenged from worn out jeans and filled with silica sand. They are all I used for years, and I still use them.

I keep coming back to look at this. I trying to figure how to make one these work in my hunting stands. It would sure be better than a rolled up rag laying over the window edge.

Thanks, just placed an order. Although I ordered the standard 15" bench "butterfly" style bag.

I have a bulls bag . I think it's the 15" one . my complaint is it seems to hold the rifle to low to the bench . I can't get the butt of the rifle up off the bench to be able to put a sand bag under there , and it also interferes with my trigger hand . what I've been doing is I place the bulls bag on a board or two to raise it up some . I wish I'd have bought the system , it looks to have more height .
