What I want for 2017...........

10gaugemag,

I note this is your first post. Welcome aboard. Always pleased to have new people joining in the fun. Sounds as if you do a bit of varmint shooting. What would you be shooting the .224 caliber bullets in?
.223, 22-250 or any other .22 centerfire that may come down the pipe. Like the ease of clean-up, and possible velocity gains of the coated bullets.
My 22-250 really likes the CT 50 grain BST and am getting ready to play with the 40 and 55 tipped Varmageddon to see if it like FB bullets even better, just waiting on a 50 tipped Varmageddon.

Some high b.c. 277 bullets since there are getting to be more fast twist custom barrels showing up, at the very least it would wipe the smile off those smug 7mm shooters faces..... :)

277 - 160 gr AccuBond
277 - 160 gr ABLR

358 - 200-225 gr E tip
358 - 250 gr AccuBond

264 - 150 gr Partition
264 - 150 gr AccuBond

I like it! A 150-160 AB in the 270 sounds awesome Gerry!

I'll second your picks!

Stay on it, Gene. Scotty is growing weaker! Now he is considering that 325 WSM! If Nosler comes through, he'll own that rifle shortly! (y)

Shoot Mike, seeing how easy it is, maybe a guy might need a 325 Newton....

Well, you got me on that one, Scotty. How about a nice 8X68S? I can tell you it really wings out those big Woodleighs!

...seems to be the conundrum here, Dr. Mike, Scotty won't get a 8mm unless Nosler makes the bullet, Nosler won't make the bullet till Scotty gets a 8mm...

Bummer, Gene. I could certainly spring for some 220 grain Noslers--even at the awful exchange rate we Canajuns face.

I'm working on it fellas. I may beat Nosler to their 220, or they may beat me.... I'm just happy to have so many choices right now.

Shoot, I'd probably be just fine with the 200 AB or PT in any 8mm. But a 220 something would be real cool.

Since Nosler has brought back the solid base bullet how about a 200gr .358 solid base BT. and up the production for the 225gr PT and AB.

...naw, too much chance of hurting someone when those .277 boolits bounce off the target...

How about a 6.5- 130 gr ballistic tip
and I like the idea of Scotty and Gerry- a heavy 150-160 AccuBond!
maybe even a 130 gr Ballistic tip in the 7mm cal. would be a great match for the 7-08

Those sound pretty good as well too.... As long as it's Nosler I'm on board.

Yup, that design is close enough to be interesting. Hope that they expand the style to more offerings.

I hope so as well. Very interesting Bullet.

Well I would like Non Melting Ballistic Tips from Nosler and Partitions with Non Melting Ballistic tips.
I hate smashed tips on my lead bullets.

yup maybe with a ballistic tip style 200gr .358 to make it a little more aerodynamic but I would settle for it the way it is in .358
