Wildboar: Time to Pig out

Nice Lou, glad to hear that the .375 Ouch & Ouch put a hurt on those pigs! No doubt that it would do so but now the rifle is blooded and ready for other harder cased game!

Good looking pig, and an even better looking rifle! The Zeiss looks right at home on top of that rifle. Congrats!

Thanks guys :)

I can't believe the image quality of the zeiss scope, it's just supurb!..The boar was kinda in some heavy brush, and I only had about a 2-3ft shooting window, I laid down my rifle on my trusty cat pole, and put the cross hairs right behind the shoulder, man talk about a bright, wide field of view, and squeezed of the shot, all I saw was the boar almost go air born, DRT.
I don't know if I'll be hunting yet this fall  ..I see the back surgeon in 2 weeks, so it just might impose on my fall plans for this year?..Time well tell. :)
That's 1 reason why I wanted to get out and get some blood on my .375 H&H this early, cause when all is said and done, I'll be hunting the BIG stuff
Regards,Lou

Lou, I hope that your surgeon has good news for you. If he has to go in & does the repairs then let it be done ASAP so that your recovery can begin immediately!!

Blessings,
Dan

Good for you, Lou. I am glad that those Federal Blue Box DRT'ed your hog for you. I would expect nothing else from that rifle and caliber. After your back surgery is healed, you will be ready for anything that walks the planet! I expected the scope would deliver the goods, ptically, and it did. Good on you!

Loads of pork for sure and congrats on getting that Sako bloody ! Looks like that tenderloin would have been very nice coming off the BBQ  that was an awesome hunt it looks like and when ya those result it makes that much nicer ! Congrats guys!

Almost done!

Ready to serve

Dress how you like it

Bon Appetite...Lou

It does look like that would get in your mouth, Lou. Yeah, it looks to be quite fine dining.

...Mustard...

...what kinda mustard ya got???

...ain't driving all that way for just any old cheapazz mustard...

Lou you are a sick man  teasing me like that :) I have never met a sausage on the BBQ that I did not like. I little bit of Papa Dan's hot mustard and it would be set . I usually make about 6 to 7 batches per year and give it out as Christmas presents to my friends along with a pack or 2 of sausage never had any returned so I figure it must be okay.

Blessings,
Dan
