Will A 7mm 150 gr Accubond Ever Be Made?

My 7mm-08 loves 150 NBT, and I'd sure like a matching 150 AccuBond.

I know a 140 is available, but my 7mm-08 won't abide them (have had several 7mm-08's and none loved 140's... go figure). This rifle won't group either 140 or 150 Partitions either.

I also know the new LR NAB is available in 150, but its jump to the lands in my little 7 and its 9.5" twist may not be that great for them.

SOOOOO, when will Nosler make the 7mm NAB!?

Thanks...

Man, great request. I'd shoot them if they made em.

I would give the ABLR a try though Brad. All I've shot liked a lot of jump and you should stablize them fine.

I also, have wondered about a 150 AccuBond in 7mm. I would shoot them.
It just seems like a perfect bullet for my application.

If ya give them a call they might be able to tell you if you might ever see any?
My bad I at first thought you were speaking of ABLR's

I really do believe there's a market for a 7mm / 150 NAB... the LRAB really is a different animal, good bullet though it may be. I believe for the average hunter, the "standard" AccuBond is hard to beat. I've used the 165 NAB in 30 cal to take a number of elk. That bullet really hangs tough. Of course the same thing can be said about the Ballistic Tip as well... have used it on elk too.

Without a doubt Brad. I ran through some 150 ABLR's in my 270WSM and 168ABLR's in my 7mm WSM. Both of them shot pretty decently, but I quickly came around and realized I already had all the bullet I needed in both with the 150 PT in the 270 and 160 AB in the 7. If there was a 150 AB, I believe it would really get some traffic from the 280 and 7mm mag folks as well. Should be able to push them at a good clip and be right in that perfect spot for a 284 hunting bullet.

When I have some free time I'll give Bend a jingle and beg for a 150 NAB :)

Aside, I just picked up some 150 ABLR's for the 7-08. I can seat bullets out to 2.820" in my magazine (Kimber Montana) and the ABLR's touch the lands at 2.965", so a jump of .145"... not as bad as I thought it may be.

Will try to get them out to the range as some point in the next week or so and will report back.

Yeah, the Partition is always my "go to" first choice elk bullet, but this little 7 just can't abide them.

The 7mm 150 gr ABLR is your bullet. It is accurate, expands well and penetrates deep.

I know that the 150 grain ABLR shot out of a .280 Remington will kill elk and mule deer quite cleanly.

Undoubtedly, the LRAB is a fine bullet... but it doesn't appear to be as stoutly constructed as the AB.

More choices are always good, especially from a great Co. like Nosler.

You aren't kidding about that. They do cover down pretty well for me, for the most part.

I dont think the difference between an AB and BT at 7-08 speeds is much of a concern.

The difference in weight retention of most BT/AB is only 10-15%

I would be happy if I could find what they produce NOW! LOL
