Just got back from shooting.Started at 60 grains and worked up to 63 which according to nosler is there max. I recorded 2815 (avg) with the 63 and no signs of pressure. Might try going up in half grain increments this weekend.
On the first day of deer season 5 years ago i had nice 7point step out above me at 50 yards on a steep sidehill. The only shot i had was his neck because of the laurel. Shot him with a 150 ballistc tip out of a 7mm. rem.mag. At the shot he dropped and rolled over on his back with his legs...
Looking too get a little more velocity with a 160 accubond,my current load with IMR-4350 is averaging only 2725fps. Anyone have any experience with this combo.
Bought one of these last week mounted it on a m.700 7mm rem. mag. VERY VERY impressed!!!! Used their ballistic calculator too set it up, it said too use 12 power with my load. 9 out of 10 shots on a 8 inch gong at the range at 700 yards holding dead on!
The good thing is i didn't tell her about the kimber crimson carry pro i ordered while i was at the shop! I can hide that in the console of my truck. haha

I had the same problem with winchester supreme 160 partitions. After noticing the split necks i checked the rest of the shells. Out of 2 boxes 16 shells had split necks from the factory.
I cant remember the name of it ,but its used on outdoor furniture.IT has a couple different colors in one can,makes a great textured finsh on the stock.kind of splatters as it comes out. i did a factory 700 stock about 12 years ago and its still holding up.
I live about 40 miles from pennsylvanias elk country and there is some giants around the town of benezzete (where you can't hunt). PA actually put minimum caliber restriction of .27 and no less than 130 grain bullet.
