After last deer season I decided I needed to get in shape. Climbing the hills in WV took a toll and limited my ability to get to where I wanted to go. So after Christmas I went to the doc and he said to try to get under 200…199.9 today, I’ll call it a success. Still want to try to get to 180. Shedding 50 pounds
is hard for a 54 y/o truck driver.

Congratulations. That is a heck of an accomplishment. Great job. Keep up the good work. Good luck on reaching your goal.

Congratulations Howie! That's a major accomplishment and one to be proud of.
Nicely done buddy.

Congrats on improving your health and extending your life.

My buddy lost a ton of weight recently. When I asked him what his secret was, he said he ate everything that he did before but he cut his portions in half and moved away from the table. He did add that he obviously gave up Italian pastries too. LOL

Just cutting carbs, avoiding snacks and portion control. Biggest asset is a food logging app, really helps you keep track of what and how much you consume.
Congrats! Cutting carbs and sugar especially is a big help. Snacking gets your blood sugars up so intermittent fasting is also huge. Even though I'm not heavy right now I need to get back to that myself since it is so healthy to do. I like two meals at roughly12:00 and 6:00.
