Does Nosler use proprietary or over the counter powder ?

I traded some bullets for a box of 338RUM 225 AB nosler custom ammo. It shoots real well and I would like to duplicate the load. Was wondering if you can find out what powder Nosler uses or not?

Welcome to the forum, glad you are here.
Nosler won't tell you what they use but you can bet its most likely the most accurate powder that is highlighted in their Reloading Guide. :wink:

Well, here's the most accurate load as listed in the Nosler @6 manuel:

338RUM
225gr AB
Rem Brass
Fed 215
91gr RL22

That's a max load, so I would expect a commercial loading to be less then that. Work up carefully.
