Thought it would be fun to get an inventory of favorite loads.

Would ask that you volunteer what you like about it, and the specs(bullet, powder, primer, jump)

I've tried lots of loads but the one I started with and still use is 48 grains of IMR 4064 with a 165 grains Sierra SPBT or HPBT.
I've taken deer and elk with that load.

Very cool. I like seeing some of the trends that pop up for the 30-06....

59 grains H4350, CCI 200's, 165 gr Nosler Ballistic Tip at a tad over 2900 fps from a 24" barrel.

One shot drops last season:
cow elk at 338 yds
black bear at 325 yds
pronghorn at 245 yds
mule deer at 140 yds

Ya, I like the load.

Regards, Guy

Nosler cases, Federal 210 primer, 56.6 gr IMR 4451, 180 gr Partition, excellent accuracy in 3 rifles, velocity runs about 2,730 - 2,760 fps depending on New or once fired cases. less copper build up to remove however there is still powder residue to remove. Velocity is from a 24" barrel.

57.4 grs of IMR4350 - 165 gr. Partition or AccuBond - Winchester brass - Federal 210 match primer

3.375 OAL Worked equally as well in two 30-06 rifles. The first a Remington 700 ADL and the second my Ruger 1B.

Lightish practice load and deer load
165 grain core-lokt
53-53.5 grains of H414
Remington brass with minimal prep-work
CCI 200 primer
I don't recall the jump to the lands but it is long, I seat bullets at the cannelure with a very light crimp.

Accuracy tends towards 1" for 5 rounds at 100 yards in a Sauer 202. On Saturday my Kimber 84L put 4 of them inside of 3" at 175 yards with one flyer that I attributed to the bipod coming loose. There were two groups of two rounds horizontally bracketing point of aim; which I likewise attribute to varied bipod loading... Normally it holds about 2" at 175 yards in the Kimber

61.0 Grs RL22 and a 165 NBT lit by a Fed 210.
Sub MOA in my Interarms MKX Mauser.

For years it was 57 grs of IMR 4350 and a 165NBT
Killed a lot of deer but shot about 1.5 MOA

The Garands get 47 Grs of BLC2 a CCI #34 and a 168 Hornady HBPT.

To add more for Guy and I's load (as it's identical, probably we both stole it from the John Barsness' article)

This winter I sent my rifle to Dennis Olson for him to work on the feeding. I took it apart, boxed it up, he got it, put it together, fixed it, took it apart, sent it back to me, I put it back together. I put the scope back on it; since I used Talley screw lock rings all I had to do was screw the rings back onto the bases.

I did not adjust the scope before I fired it. Winds today were 20 mph, gusting more than that. And I don't have 1/2 inch all day long rifles...I'm about a 3/4 MOA shooter normally. As in, the best groups I can shoot are about 3/4 MOA when I'm doing well. When I'm not doing well...they get worse.
