You guys got me thinking about what 6.5's I have.
What do you guys use?
Pictures and descriptions would be great.

Another thread on 6.5's made me realize there is quite a few in this group.
My first dedicated LR specialty pistol was in a 6.5-284 XP-100. I think I literally grieved when that Krieger 8T barrel was done
I do have two 6.5's in rifles. A good friend, Darrell Holland built one for me in 6.5 Creed, and I have had friends kill antelope and elk with it. Mac's Gunworks built me a 6.5x47 Lapua, and i have used it for antelope and pd's, plus LR steel.
I don't have a good pic of Holland's rifle, but I do have one that Mac's built me.

I have a couple of 6.5s in the safe. The 6.5 PRC has become a favorite cartridge.

I have a Seekins havak with a vortex razor LHT 3-15x42. This rifle has become a go to for anything short of moose with the 124gr hammer hunter @ 3210fps.

The second is a full custom built by crescent customs. Surgeon WSM action, 28” bartlien 1-7 barrel in a manners stock with nightforce ATACR 7-35cx56. Running 140gr Berger hybrid target @ 3087fps.

The last one is a very sporterized Swedish Mauser topped with a 1-4 older weaver. I had picture this up a few years ago for my dad. He really liked these old sporterized military rifles and this one was really well done.

I’ve had a Remington 700 in 6.5 Creedmoor and 260 rem in the past as well as an Ar15 in 6.5 Grendel.

Glenn sure makes good stuff.
I really like that middle rig as well.
Very clean lines on that Mauser

Here's a couple rifles in various 6.5s I've owned:
A 6.5 Grendel DMR:

and a Henry Long Ranger in 6.5 Creedmoor:

My next rifle will be a rechambered Tikka in 264 win mag. I'll buy a stock 6.5 creed, open up the bolt face, and rechamber the barrel.

Funny, I never got a 6.5, though I like them.

At Ultimate Reloader I've been shooting 6.5 Creedmoor & 6.5 PRC rifles and enjoying the heck out of them. The CMMG AR-10 in 6.5 Creed is pretty impressive!

The ones I've shot have all shot well, haven't kicked much and are just all-around really nice to shoot. Maybe someday I'll get one, but right now I've got about a half-dozen I can mess with anytime I want... :)

Sounds like the best of both worlds....

My wife has a Kimber Hunter in 6.5 Creedmoor.
I've got a 6.5JDJ Shillen barrel for my T/C Contender. It's the middle barrel. 375 Winchester on the gun and a 7-30 Waters on the bottom.

Rem sps 700 adl 6.5 creed used as a fitup/donor barreled action that will eventually become something great!

This is my daughter's Rem 700 .260 SPS that i put in a CDL wood stock. Bedded the action, floated the barrel, squared the bolt face and put a Timney trigger in it. It's topped with a Leupold VX5HD and looks like the twin of my 25.06 CDL. She loves this rifle and has harvested quite a few deer with it. It accurate and a pleasure to shoot, she lets me use it every now and then :).

I bet too she like it. If I was seeking out a 6.5, a 260 Remington would be high on the list. Not hardly a nickels difference ballistically between the 260 or the 6.5x55 and the 6.5cm, but I like that it uses the 308 case as a platform.
