Well guest what was on my door step a few minutes ago some 200gr. ABs for the 35 but no 35 Whelen someone I think is trying to see how far I can be tested but I am hoping in just few more days and I will have her join the family again :mrgreen:

Now dog gone it, you guys got me so excited I might re-barrel the 30-06 to 35 Whelen just to have one loaded with the 200 AB and the other with the 225 AB/Partition. Ya got to have Whelen versatility. :mrgreen: :mrgreen: Maybe buy a third Whelen for 250 Partitons. :roll:

I like my 30-06 a whole lot but who needs that when I could get a 200 AB going almost 2900 fps?
That my friend would be likened to a snow plow hitting a Deer at a high rate of speed. :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

Just to note here I'm not knocking the 30-06 either, I'm just a lover of the Whelen and the .358 family of Cartridges. My dad has always stated there is nothing like the 35 Cal. it carries a lot of energy and wallop.
