Testing the new 200 gr Accubond in my Whelen

Don I know what you mean regarding the heat we have just started to get the heat and it does not bother me if it is dry  I didn't like humidity before this last little episode :(. But last Monday & Tuesday really was uncomfortable.
Once I get my legs back under me I should be fine, sure do like my air conditioning

Blessings,
Dan

I hear you on the heat. I do all my reoading out in a shed and even though I have an A/C unit, I an't use it when loading because the fan affects the scale on the Chargemaster. Even my balance beam scale if affected. It may be a dry heat because most of the time there's no humidity to speak of but it's still hot. I'm already way behind on my reloading and in two days I'll be having surgery on my right thumb for a "triggerlock" condition so that'll put me ever farther behind. I just got some 225 gr. Partitions to try in my Whelen. We'll see if my rifle likes them.

Hey Paul, good luck with that surgery. I still have not had a 225gr. in my 35 Whelen but from what has been said on the forum it seems it is the go to bullet for her.
Hope you are back up and healthy in a real short period of time.

Blessings,
Dan

Paul, my wife has had that same surgery on two separate fingers. She is quite enthusiastic about the results. Hopefully, you'll be back at the shooting bench shortly.

Glad your trying the PT's Paul and your finger is on the mend buddy! I imagine you won't have many issues making it shoot. I would bet your current load would be mighty close the way it is.
