They were both free floated and bedded from the Custom Shops. The bottom one is the Rem. 700 APR and the other is a HS Precision built gun. I also have the Rem APR in 338 Ultra and 375 Ultra and havent never scoped them.
I use 200 grain Accubonds and 86 grains of IMR 7828 in the 300 for sub .5 groups . The lower one is a 300RUM and is a shooter. So is the top one but its a 338 Ultra
I agree with RR. Sounds like the bullets are seated out to far making it hard to close the bolt and that is causing enough pressure to make the bolt sticky. Is C.O.A.L. correct?
I think stores are milking people. I bought primers this past weekend for $23.99. WLR. He did raise powder to $19.60 a lb and 8 lb Imr 7828 and Varget was $143
I really want to try the E-Tips. I stocked up on new ones then got to thinking about how well the 200 accubond works in my 300. I have thought about swapping them for Accubonds but who knows
Got to thinking and to be honest I have never reloaded another bullet than Nolser. I have used some factory ammo but as far as loading just Nolser. They are the only bullets my Dad would buy. I just went out in the shop and looked and I probably have 100 boxes of bullets my dad gave me 20 years...
Well I called yesterday and the lady I talked to told me my bullets hadnt shipped. The neighbor flagged me down this morning and my bullets were dropped there by UPS. She must of had a hang over LOL
Well thanks Mike Harris for taking carfe of me!!
I picked up 5000 Winchester and 5000 Federal 210 GMM this Sunday. Winchesters were $23.99 per thousand and the Federals were $32.99. I have some buddies that need some so they get a shot at these
