I agree with Fotis on his Lott load!
For plinking and hunting those 2 critters, the 405 gr. Remingon and Speer would do too. The Rem. is a little stouter. Or cast again. Hard to beat the cost factor if you shoot the big bores a lot. Buying commercial cast? I would go back to the Rem. and...
I haven't tried the 260 gr. PT yet in the .375 JDJ, but intend to. Not a powerhouse, but it was purchased to use in timber with the longer shot possible, to 200 or so. I've always been a PT fan.
I was going to say,,,that Hornady makes the 350 which was designed for magunum capacity cartridge's. It would do for most NA big game, however I would prefer something heavier for big bears.
One can make cast to work. If fit is right, mag velocity can be had without leading. 4-500 grainers...
This is why when proceedure process change's, I work with smaller batches of brass until I get everything figured and set. Once I know 5 rounds chamber and extract, then I run the full batch.
In a way, I find the 9.3 offerings unusual. Certainly don't hurt nothing however. I'm not sure I'll spend money and time with them, as my 9.3 shoots both Nolser's just fine.
There again, some useful bullets there imo.
Thinking along similar lines, I would look for a use 700 that's good enough to use, then add or re build as funds permit. Thats just me, otherwise I'm in the Fotis camp.
I have an improved version in a TC also, But the 7-30 as is is a fine round. Used within it's limitations, I could do with it as my only rifle. That rife would be nice to have!
I have one, and it's a good barrel. It's no OTT, but I would get another form them. Likely now that OTT isn't making any more barrels to my knowledge, I would probably go to MGM first.
