:mrgreen: nice bear was you waiting for him to bring breakfast ? Just seems kinda close for me 26 yds :shock: I would need a new depends after that :lol: ya going to hang him or walk on him ? Anyway congratulation's it is a good sized 1 and would look nice hanging for sure , way to go !

Thanks for the compliments. The distance was determined by how I spotted him and had to move about 10yrds closer for a clear shot. I didnt spot him and try to see how close I could get. He was more concerned about eating acorns then his surroundings. Still had an acorn in his mouth. One excellent hunt!!

Got my bou rack back from the taxidermist. Turned out really nice. They always look better after you get them stained.

Well the Ol man is 71 and still shooting straight... He complained a bit about kneeling for the pic though. His faithful fire stick since the early 70's proved deadly as ever and the 175 gr TBBC worked flawlessly again.

That all looks good, super-7. I struck out this year--the first time in a long time. All the moose I saw were illegal. I saw several during these past two weeks, but try as I might, I could not make the bald heads grow antlers and those with antlers didn't have the right count to them. Good for your dad; he did well with that youngun. That'll be fine table fare. I enjoy watching the dogs patiently waiting for a few scraps.

Super-7, congrats to your dad, that looks to be a good sized cow. Being able to use a tractor to dress it out sure is a nice luxury to have.

Super-7 Congrats to your dad. I know exactly how that works out. I took my dad 74yrs old out for a hunt. He can stills as your dad shoot straight albeit a little smaller animal in a whitetail doe, but hey it's meat. That cow sure does look big. She must have been eating what your Alberta beef eats to get that big. Good eating and again congrats.
