Those are all I will use on 700s anymore. All of the sets I own haven’t required a bit of lapping and they’re light as all getout. I recommend them to anyone

Certainly attractive. The cutout for the bolt handle is on the wrong side, as has been observed for quite a number of those posting here.

Tiger stripe/curly maple, yeah. They have it listed under “XX maple” but the grain pattern is undeniably curly. Their factory finish doesn’t do this particular blank’s grain any justice. It may end up getting refinished to show just how deep it is.

Haha. I got a bud who's a lefty, he's amazingly adept at running a right handed rifle, left handed. I'd look like a 1 legged man in a potato sack race trying to look coordinated with a left handed rifle.On the wrong side

The stock looks great. Quite a few years ago I purchased a nutmeg Laminate Boyds stock from them for my son's 6mm Ruger MKII. I had my gunsmith pillar and glass bed the stock and it really shoots. I also had the stock checkered. You can buy it checkered already now from Boyds. I'm pleased with their stock.
