Alright fellas,

This is the official entry thread for all you Quarter Bore fans.
You have to own a 257 cal rifle BUT if you had one or want/need one you are in.

I have a M700 Classic 257 Roberts with a VXII 3-9x40mm.

Now I NEED a 257 Wby.

Who else is in the Quarter Bore Club?

Me too, a Std Bob (M77MKII) and an Imp Bob (M700/Shilen/Rod).... A perfect bore and pwdr capacity match..

Rod

I'm in.

Sauer 202, 25-06

Just picked up a Marlin XL-7 in 25-06 cuz I've been hearing how well they shoot.

Ron

Man, I had one! A beautiful 25-06 M700 CDL. Things didn't work out between us, but I will be acquiring a M70 Sporter 25-06 shortly I believe! Love that 25-06. Very, very cool round. Scotty

The 25-06 is the one on the bottom!

Scott -
The Whelen is nicer anyhow  !!

I think I qualify
257 AI in a pre-64 model 70
257 Bob Ruger Hawkeye
25-06 Tikka

Winchester M70 Featherweitht .257 Bob, Ruger #1B .257 Bob, and two Ruger #1B's in 25-06.
Paul B.

Count me and Dad too, below is a crow I shot that was trying to steal a chick from the hen house on Dad's place a year or two back. He met his maker with the 250-3000 Savage rifle pictured. Against my pleadings Dad has since got it drilled and tapped and now has a Nikon 2x7x32 scope on top. It shoots amazing even with just the irons though...

And of course you all have seen this picture of me with a coyote I shot with my Remington 700 in 25-06.

I have to say that the 25 caliber is my favorite smaller than 7mm caliber. There is just something about those quarterbores...

I've been thinking about a thread like this since all of the hooplah that went on with the 6.5mm club :p I got a .257 WBY Vanguard Stainless Sporter. Really like how it shoots. It was part of the reason I entertained the idea of rolling my own because factory shells were $70 a box.

No secret that I fell hard for the .25-06 Rem 700 CDL a few years ago:

And my son's ancient .257 Weatherby/Mauser is edging closer to completion and a return to duty!

Wife has a Remington Model 700 MTN Rifle in 25-06! Does that count and get me in?

Naw, but it'll get your wife in! Have her post a picture.

I'm working on justification for a Sporter M70 in .25-06. I have faith in my ability to do so.

I need to get a .264 first.

Model 70 Classic BOSS, here. I still haven't had a chance to blood it, though.

Wouldn't this thread be much shorter if everyone who doesn't have a .25 sounded off?

Count me in, two Rem 700s, Classic .257 Roberts and an ADL .25-06. Right now both are stoked with 110 Accubonds. Still hoping I can work the 100 ETips into the Bob.

That's looking nice Guy! I know a gal you could ship that stock to and who would put checkering on it that you would just drool all over when you saw it if you and your son would be so inclined. I know you were kind of trying to keep it like grandpa had it, but checkering sure is nice to hang on to the darn things with, and it looks so nice. It would probably cost about $125.00 to $150.00 depending upon the pattern you selected!!

...had a beautiful .25-06 Vanguard before I had an ex...

...after the ex, I got one of the Vanguard Synthetics, fine shooting rifle, that I traded to a friend to purchase this .25 WSSM Browning A-Bolt Varmint Stalker...

257 bee in vanguard sporter, hard hiting and reaches way far enough.looking forward to owning a 25-35 win, and 250 savage.
