How about it Nosler, take the 22 Nosler up to .243 and give the AR-15 something factory new. Please give Nosler your thoughts.

Well I was gonna get a .243 win built but would definitely hold out for a 24 nosler. Then my 28 nosler could have a little brother.....

I think it's closer than we think.
Would make a great coyote round.

Hopefully, its for a long action with a case at least as fat as a 308 Win but longer yet not as long as an '06 case so a "heavy" bullet can be seated out and will not take up much powder space. Also, a fast twist, 1:8 or faster.

That sounds like a 6mm Remington to me

Needs more fatter:

6mm Rem case capacity ~ 54.4g water
308 Win case capacity ~ 56.0g water

Think WSM fat (with RL26, 33, 50).
270 WSM case capacity ~ 79.5g water +

With min barrel length of 26".

... .240 Weatherby, a 6mm Grendel w/ a 1:7 twist would be a lot cheaper & easier for a MSR...
