The thing that I keep coming back to is owing a Colt Peacemaker, 7-1/2 inch barrel. I really wanted a Henry B. Nettleton USRA Artillery SAA but the company went belly up apparently? My two, Peacemaker .45 and Colt New Frontier .44-40 were stolen in a home invasion robbery eight years ago.

Mortis, I agree with you on the Sig pistols.
 
I've come across a very nice old S&W 27-2, in great shape.

Not sure I can afford it. Beautiful gun! Appears to have been shot and carried little. Shame that, but the gun looks really good!

Yes it is a Model 29 Smith 6.5 inch barrel ! Sorry I did not post what it was ? Have since picked up a holster from Desantis !
