I have a few 1911's, a norinco, colt, & para ordnance to be exact.
The norinco shots as any 1911 i have ever shot & better than my colt.
maybe i have one of the good ones I'm not sure.
I would by another one if the oppertunity came up, especially for under $300 & take my chances.

That was the total difference. I was shooting factory Hornady 168gr Amax match ammo.
The rifles were a Rem 700 PSS 26" barrel & a Rem 700P LTR 20" barrel.
I am pretty sure that you could have a bigger difference with different powders, but I have not tried that myself yet.
I tested the difference between a 308 with a 20" barrel & one with a 26" barrel. Using the same box of ammo in both rifles. The velocity difference was about 45fps.

Mike I have had the pleasure of shooting a S&W 1911. It functioned perfectly. The sights seemed to impact a little low to me, but that is easily fixed either with adjustment or possibly different ammo.
