More than complete - I've been cutting back. Here's where it stands now:

.25-06 Rem 700 primarily for mule deer, but does a fine job on chucks 'n yotes

.308 Rem 700 varmint weight - a keeper - very accurate & enough gun

.30-06 1917 - a pass-down from Dad, not a bad shooter

.300 WSM Model 70 - wow - very nice LR rig!

.45-70 Marlin 1895 - for any big game in N/A at 200 yards or less...

Frankly I could have done it all with the old 1917 that I started shooting in about 1970 or so. Not the most accurate. Not the hardest hitting. But a good rifle that would have worked in most hunting situations. I just really enjoy shooting the others too! :grin:

I don`t plan to keep up with you boys in rifle quantity, so here is what I have now!

A 300 WSM Ruger Frontier compact w/2.5-8x28 Nikon Monarch scout.

A 375 Ruger Alaskan 20" (to be sold to my neighbor in the fall) and replaced with a 375 Ruger Howa M1500 20" w/1.5-5x20 VX3 German #4

Sidearm; 500 S&W w/4" barrel length.

Later on, I just may add another rifle for some smaller stuff!.......A 270 WSM!!

If I don`t have full coverage now, after that addition, that`ll certainly cover it all??.... :wink: :wink: :wink: :wink:

Well, I'm pretty complete but there is always room to try some other calibers.

Here are the calibers and rifles I've used to take all of my big game animals with.
