Good looking mule deer. What state were you hunting when you took him?

Scott, that looks like a sweet setup. Horses and all. Where and what caliber? Details man, details. Bullet weight, distance, etc. Oh yeah, nice DEER!

Killed him late Oct in WY (Shoshone Wilderness). It was a 255 yd shot with a Winchester Mod 70 in .338 using a 225 gr Nosler AB. I was over gunned but it was grizz country and I did see a sow and 3 cubs at about 300 yards one day.

Here it is my first bird... :shock: got to love beginners luck...
21lbs, 10.5" beard, 3/4" spurs.. Got within 100yds without knowing he was there because of 30mph winds..

Some nice looking gators there. And not a bad little deer. I used to fish the Atchafalaya River. I saw quite a bit of game, but never hunted it. Thanks for sharing.

Killed with my 358Win and a 225gr AccuBond (muzzle velocity of 2556fps) at 100-104 yards in South Louisiana January 2010.

By the way, needless to say these deer went down in big time fashion, very impressive.

Hmmm. For 2010 so far all I've got are some rockchucks nailed with the .204 Ruger/CZ.
